I was very proud to have 32 children representing St. Bede’s at the District tennis competition at Boldon Lawn Tennis Club.

The sun was shining and our children played with broad smiles, as they enjoyed a variety of fun, skills challenges and singles matches.

Our children have really enjoyed developing their tennis together, both in PE and during lunch time practises.

The organisers kindly commented on their excellent ability, good behaviour and enthusiasm.

Congratulations once again to our fantastic tennis players and thank you to our brilliant parent helpers at Boldon who gave the children wonderful support.

Thank you also to the Sport Network for enabling us to enter so many children.
