Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic visit to the Oriental Museum today.  Firstly, they learnt about and acted out the story of the Chinese zodiac – ‘The Great Race’.

Being born in 2012 or 2013, the children found out that they were born in the Year of the Dragon or the Year of the Snake.

The children also played a matching game, where they matched up images of different animals with their meaning in Chinese culture.  The children were very competitive and matched up most of the animals correctly.
