The young Scientists made a material called Oobleck using cornflour and water, investigating whether something can be a solid or a liquid at the same time. Oobleck is a non Newtonian fluid that acts both as a solid and a liquid at the same time – a solid when pressure is applied and a liquid when left alone.

This investigation got a little bit messy but the children had oodles of fun!!
